Cinematically, shots were varied and interesting. In the first storyline, it was a weird combination of that lovish song with a high paced escape scene. They didn’t blend together well. The split screen into 3 different shots was interesting. It allowed the viewer to see what was happening simultaneously.
In the second story line, shots were kept kind of safe. But in the third story, there were a lot of differences. It did away with the split screen into 3 different screens. But there was a segment showing Lola running and her father speeding off.
Other than that, I also noticed that they made use of a lot of repeated shots. Like when Lola was running across the bridge in the first storyline, they kept cutting the shots really fast and it was alternating between two shots, a medium close up of her face and a side shot.
In the beginning, there was a mix of frame speeds. As in, they showed the shot quickly and slowed down to normal speed when highlighting certain people that had "cameo" roles in the show. I still don't understand their roles in the movie. I think it shows that the movie is kind of open ended then eh?
